Dimming Technology

Dimming systems and dimming controls are an important element for lighting and fixture or lamp design, because they allow us to adjust the light levels depending on the functional or situational requirements.

The dimming systems that are currently available do not match all of our current requirements. So we decided to develop our own.

The functional requirements are:

1. To work both with 110 and 220 Volt
2. To have a failure rate of less than 1 per 1000
3. To be compact with a superb heat dissipation
4. To allow dimming from full brightness all the way to romantic hues

This universal dimmer will allow us to design lamps or fixtures that are usable in Europe as well as in America or on any other continent.
